Deposits & Cancellation Policy

 

DEPOSITS:
A deposit is a partial payment on a home that we agree to save for you.  Deposits go towards the balance due.

Deposits for weekly rentals are $250 or $500,  depending on the home.  Deposit amounts can be found on the homes page.
Deposits for daily rentals (anything less than a week) are $150 for all homes.

You commit to your reservation at the time you put a deposit down.  It is important to make sure you can commit to your dates BEFORE reserving and putting a deposit down.  If you need to cancel after you have reserved/paid a deposit please refer to our cancellation policy below.

If you pay your deposit online and use a debit card or Echeck, there will be a delay.  We do not receive notifications of reservations made online until
payments have cleared,
which means you may lose out on your home!  Please notify us so we can make arrangements to save the dates for you
until it clears. 
*Using a credit card is recommended!

CANCELLATIONS:

Canceling during Peak Season: Deposits are non-refundable unless we are able to fill your spot. *We must receive your request of cancellation a minimum of one month prior to check date. Guests who cancel two weeks or less prior to the check in date are responsible for the full balance.
In the event the home was to re-book for the dates you cancelled you would get your deposit back, minus a cancellation fee.  Cancellation fees can range from $50 or $100, depending on the home that you rented, and the length of your stay. 

Canceling during Off Peak Season:  Deposits are refundable, minus a cancellation/booking fee. *Deposits will NOT be refunded if cancellation is made less than one month prior to check in date, unless we are able to fill your dates. Guests who cancel two weeks or less prior to the check in date are responsible for the full balance.
Cancellation fees can range from $50 or $100, depends on the home that you rented, and the length of your stay. 

Home Transfers:  We allow home transfers under certain conditions.  We can not transfer to a different home simply because a guest did not properly look at what a homes amenities and/or location was prior to booking. *NP cannot transfer deposits for ANY REASON if notified less than one month prior to your arrival. Max of one transfer is allowed.

We are sorry for the inconvenience, but while holding the home for you, we have turned others away!

PEAK SEASON IS MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND THROUGH LABOR DAY WEEKEND. OFF PEAK IS ALL OTHER TIMES.
